If you wish to return an item that is eligible for a return, please contact our customer care team within 10 days of receiving your order at firstname.lastname@example.org. All eligible returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee. The restocking fee will be taken out of the total eligible refund amount of the product.
Customers are responsible for return shipping and initial shipping charges are nonrefundable. Refunds are made to the original method of payment. Please allow 3-5 business days from the date of receipt to conduct a quality review and issue a refund.
All approved returns must be packed securely and in their original and new condition and must be accompanied by your original packaging slip. Once a refund has been issued, you will be notified via email. Please allow 5-7 business days for a refund to post back to your account.
Returns that are not approved in advance by our team, are received damaged or not in their original condition when we receive them, will not be eligible for a refund.

Linen & Birch does not accept returns on the following items:
- Temple and Ginger Jars
- Vases and pots
- Select décor - All final sale décor items are noted on product pages.
- Sale items - All final clearance sale items are noted on product pages.
- Seasonal/Holiday – All final sale seasonal items are noted on product pages.
- Gift cards
All items ineligible for return will be noted on the individual product page.
While all of our items are carefully inspected prior to shipment and are shipped in new condition, it is possible that damage may occur during shipment. If your order arrives damaged, please email our Customer Care team at firstname.lastname@example.org within 48 hours of delivery and include your name, order number, and photographs of the damaged item(s).
If a damaged item is accepted for return, a member of the Linen & Birch team will provide you with return shipping instructions and a pre-paid return label to arrange for a return and replacement at our expense.
All damage returns must be received back at our warehouse within 14 days of initial delivery and include the original packing slip. Please allow up to one week for our team to review the return and issue a replacement. If a replacement is not available, we will issue a store credit or refund your order. Refunds are made to the original method of payment. Once a refund has been issued, you will be notified via email. Please allow 7-10 business days for the refund to post on your account.
We do not accept returns on items damaged through normal wear and tear.
Missing or Incorrect Items
We do our best to carefully fulfill and package your order, however there may be times (hopefully rare!) when an item is missing or incorrectly included in your shipment. If this occurs, please contact a member of the Linen & Birch team within 48 hours of delivery at email@example.com.
For incorrect items, we will provide you with return shipping instructions and a pre-paid return label. We will ship you the correct or missing item at our cost if it is available. Should the item be unavailable, we are happy to provide you with a store credit or issue a return to your original method of payment.
Order Cancellations or Exchanges
Unfortunately, we are unable to cancel an order once it has been placed as your order is immediately in-process with our fulfilment warehouse.
We do not offer exchanges at this time, if you would like to receive an item of an alternative design or size, please place a separate order through our website and return your previously purchased item.
